FAQ
Questions, answered
Is Backswipe free?
Yes. The web app is free with no ads. The mobile apps are free and supported by ads: one ad card in a deck, and an optional short video if you want another new deck the same day.
Do I need an account?
No. You connect your Steam profile with a link, username or SteamID64, and your shortlist and history stay on your device.
Why does my Steam profile need to be public?
Steam only shares a library when Game details are set to public. We never ask for your password, so this setting is how we can see which games you own.
Does it work with PlayStation or Xbox?
Not yet, Backswipe reads Steam libraries only. If you finished a game on another platform, swipe it down and it leaves the deck for good.
What does "unplayed" mean?
By default, games you have never opened. You can also include games you barely touched, with a playtime limit in the filters.
Is Backswipe affiliated with Valve or Steam?
No. Backswipe is an independent app. Steam is a trademark of Valve Corporation.
